Why There are a growing number of 'Influencers' seeking new material for viral videos to generate profit from views, comments, subscriptions and viewer/listner engagement to their channels and shows (eg Radio, Instagram, Youtube).
Confidentiality Clause (Spoilers) We hope you enjoy the experience enough to recommend us to others - if doing so we recommend sharing your thoughts and feelings (it was unique, scary, challenging) without using specific details (eg we did this and then we used that to unlock X).
If wanting to review us we welcome and recommend reviews left via our listings (Facebook, Google, TripAdvisor) where we can monitor posts for any inadvertant disclosure of detail. We are eternally grateful to those who have done so in the past in a very tactful and clever way.
We offer a kindly reminder that disclosure of the experience details afterwards (via recollection) is a breach of the confidentiality clause in your booking terms and conditions.
Is it claustrophobic? The cells are 1.8 x 2.4m wide and have open ceilings (no roof). They are well lit (always - no lights out) and persons within can use the emergency release pin to get out at any time.
We welcome anyone wishing to preview the site to contact us and arrange an inspection prior to booking.
Is it safe? The activity, props and cells have all been tested and made safe and have had zero incidents since opening on 4 September 2016. However we do remind people that the venue itself is an old heritage building built in 1878 and as such not all contruction is compliant with the Building Code standards of today.
What should I wear? Casual and comfortable is best.
Please note: The Paper Mills have bluestone stairs and uneven bluestone paths - no high heels, sandals or thongs.

Are there toilets? Yes - there are public toilets available. NOTE: We do not control the upkeep of these facilities.
Can we compete? Yes, however we encourage groups to be respectful of all those participating and of the room equipment.

Examples that are not on-selling: Team Building, Club or work functions, etc.

No. Unauthorized sale of our event as part of a package deal will result in legal action for the entire value of any package deals sold (not just our ticket price) and will further result in refusal of entry without refund.
Is the venue heated / air conditioned? No. The bluestone walls and high factory ceiling keep the venue cool in summer. We recommend dressing warm in winter.

We wish to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin nations, the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are gathered today. We pay our respects to the local people for allowing us to have our gathering on their land and to their Elders: past, present and future.
